Today, I want to share the process of a&nbsp;<strong>first-time gray blending highlight color session<\/strong>&nbsp;for a client transitioning from a&nbsp;<strong>single-process ginger brown color<\/strong>&nbsp;to a more&nbsp;<strong>natural, low-maintenance look<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since this was her&nbsp;<strong>first gray blending session<\/strong>, my main focus was to&nbsp;<strong>lighten the brown areas<\/strong>&nbsp;while ensuring a&nbsp;<strong>seamless blend<\/strong>&nbsp;with her natural gray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Gray Blending Process &amp; Technique<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For this first session, I used the following approach:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705&nbsp;<strong>Focused on Lightening the Brown Sections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The priority was to\u00a0<strong>gradually lighten the mid-lengths and ends<\/strong>\u00a0to create a smoother transition over time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highlights were placed strategically to\u00a0<strong>soften the contrast<\/strong>\u00a0between her previous color and gray roots.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705&nbsp;<strong>Controlled Bleaching for Minimal Damage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Since this session took\u00a0<strong>4 hours<\/strong>, I carefully adjusted the\u00a0<strong>strength of the bleach over time<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0<strong>minimize damage while achieving an even lift<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Olaplex No.1<\/strong>\u00a0was mixed into the bleach to\u00a0<strong>protect the hair and maintain strength<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705&nbsp;<strong>Custom-Toned Color for a Balanced Finish<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Different toners<\/strong>\u00a0were applied to the\u00a0<strong>roots, mid-lengths, and ends<\/strong>\u00a0to create a\u00a0<strong>harmonious blend<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Since the client preferred a\u00a0<strong>warmer tone<\/strong>, I customized the toner to avoid an overly cool or ashy result.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Future Touch-Ups &amp;
